Good morning!

As you all know, the only food our kids get here in Russia are kasha and soup. True. But not quite true. With the morning kasha the are lucky to get some cheese, as well as some bread with soup.

So, I am going to start this blog to test my written english ;) and to do something with loads of kids pictures I get every single day. My name is Natasha (I know, it is soooo unusual for Russian lady), I live in Russia (yes, it happens). I've got two precious kids: Nik is 4 and Nicole is 2. I am happily married to the man I love and I rrrrrreally enjoy my family life and try to give my kids the best I can while I live here (got big plans). Sssooo... To start with something cultural-stereotyped: When Russian boys got free minute they are playing music... on spoons.

and our young girls are making... of course pelmeni!

Yes, with a vodka shot glass. Old Russian tradition.

We do say in Russia: первый блин комом ( "Worst-first"). Not sure about this pelmeni thing and about this first post either...
